Players at a Craps Table

[ English ]

If you are on the hunt for excitement, noise and more enjoyment than you can endure, then craps is the only casino game to gamble on.

Craps is a fast-paced game with high-rollers, low-rollers, and everybody in the middle. If you’re a people-watcher this is one casino game that you will absolutely enjoy observing. There’s the big spender, playing with a big bank roll and making boisterous declarations when he bets across the board, "Five Hundred and Twenty across," you will hear the whale say. He’s the gambler to watch at this game and they know it. The whale will either win big or lose big and there is no in between.

There’s the low-roller, most likely trying to acquaint himself with the high-roller. He will let the other bettors of books he’s read up on, on dice throwing and bum around the most accomplished player at the table, prepared to confer and "pick each others minds".

There is the student of Frank Scoblete latest craps class. While Frank is the very best there is, his devotee needs to do his homework. This guy will require five minutes to setup his dice, so apply understanding.

My preferred people at the craps table are the real gentlemen from the old days. These experienced guys are usually composed, mostly generous and will very likely always offer advice from the "great ole days."

When you take the chance and choose to participate in the game, make sure you utilize proper etiquette. Find a position on the rail and lay your money down in front of you in the "come" area. Never ever do this when the dice are in motion or you will become known as the last character I wished to talk of, the jerk.
