Say, after 2 hours, the bones have eaten away at your chip stack leaving only twenty dollars. You have not looked at an on fire toss in a coon’s age. though losing is as much a part of the game as succeeding, you cannot help but feel like crap. You wonder why you even bothered coming to Las Vegas in the 1st place. You were a mountain for 2 hours, but it didn’t work. You are looking to succeed so badly that you relinquish discipline of your clear thinking. You are down to your last $20 for the day and you have little backbone left. Leave with your twenty dollars!
You must never give up, never surrender, do not think, "This is awful, I am going to risk the rest on the Hard 4 and, if I lose, then I will quit. But if I profit, I’ll be right back where I started." That’s the most block headed action you can do at the closing of a losing session.
If you are compelled to give your mulla to someone, for heaven’s sake give it to your preferred charity. Don’t award it to the gambling den. Every so often, you shall succeed on a single one of those moronic wagers, but don’t imagine you will profit adequately over time to win back your losses.
